A: Our studio has a lenient policy on missed classes. Other times throughout the week, the same class type is offered. If your child is sick, we certainly appreciate you staying home to rest and recover so that others in the class do not get exposed to sickness. Please notify your teacher that you have to miss it, and we will be happy to allow you to attend another class once your child is healthy. We also offer a makeup class on a Saturday each month, usually the last Saturday of the month. Beyond that, there isn’t a refund for missed classes. However, we are happy to allow you to attend a makeup class during another time for that week or the following week that your child had to miss class.
A: Yes! You can try a no obligation trial class so that you know what Kindermusik is all about and be sure that your child will love it. Go to jcstudio.kindermusik.com/classes/demos. You can see the list of options for a demo/preview class. Click on the option that works best for you and fill in the required fields. There is a $15 fee for the trial class. If you decide to continue in the class, your $15 fee will be applied toward your registration fee for the class.
A: The key to the success of the Kindermusik program is repetition. You must set aside 45 minutes each week, so your child can maximize learning and development. If you cannot attend each week with your child, consider asking another caregiver to bring them to class for that week that you will need to miss. Grandparents or other relatives, babysitters, or another important person in your child life are welcome at class. Please let us know if another individual will be bringing your child to class in your place.
A: No, you can enroll at any time in a class that is not full. If the class you would like to enroll in is full, you will be put on a waitlist. There is a $25 registration fee for classes, or $50 registration fee for early elementary classes, that is due upon registration. The monthly tuition of $60 is due on the 15th of each month.
A: Enrolling is easy. From the Home Page, you can type in your child's age, choose the type of class, and look for the class options. You will see a "Join Now" button on the far right that will be a link to take you to the registration page. You can also see a complete listing of weekly music classes a little further down on the Home Page, if you want to see a schedule of all available classes. There is a "Join Now" link on the far right of each line on the complete listing of classes as well.
